She’s been in lockdown with me during the pandemic. And we were running out of pills.
Yes, Penelope is on a medication which she gets from a local drug store. Not wanting to name names (the chain begins with the letter C), I called in to have her pills delivered.
Penelope was not me and she needed an account of her own.
“How do I do that?” I asked.
I was told to go on the computer and follow the prompts.
Being very good at following directions, I did as I was told.
Name, address, phone number, birthdate, and drug to be refilled. All entered.
User ID/email? I entered mine.
No! That was taken (by me). Penelope needed her own email. So a second email was added.
Everything was filled in
The problem was her birthdate. Penelope is not 18 years old! The C _ _ drugstore does not allow a minor to open an account.
In dog years, Penelope is not a minor. They know she’s a dog. And they know that she belongs to me. None the less, Penelope is Un-Accountable!
After several more phone calls, the light bulb went on. “Oh yes, we don’t let anyone under 18 open an account. Just give us your credit card number and we’ll deliver her pills along with yours!”
