It’s Super Bowl weekend and I’m watching Netflix. I know the Chiefs are playing, but I don’t know who they’re playing against. I kind of lost interest when neither of the New York teams made the play-offs. They never got close.
Penelope is different. She’s a free agent. So she got to go to a Super Bowl party at the Morris Animal Inn. (It was a private party so I wasn’t invited.)
There were huddles and discussing strategies.
Penelope was on the look-out for potential penalties. And she found them.
Obstruction on the field.
Penelope, herself, was cited for unnecessary cuteness.
Once the game ended it was time to tail gate and enjoy pretzels.
It was an action-packed day. And now everyone is ready to watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.
And just a bit of trivia: Did you know that the 2-hour Puppy Bowl takes between 50 and 100 hours to film? The puppies are filmed over 4 or 5 days and get breaks every half hour. And, over 5 pounds of peanut butter are used to encourage them to lick the camera.
